The Randy Morgan Art Door Collection includes entry doors, garage doors, elevator doors and custom designed gates like no other.  

 

Each door is carefully handcrafted, bronze cast and finished in one of several patinas.

Entry Way Art Doors

First impressions are everything!

Each Art Door is ordered to size and will be made to match the exact specifications of your entryway. 

 

You will be given choices on doors to fit these sculptured panels into, or sculptures can be added to your existing door. Custom patina variations are also available for every door.

 

You will also be given a choice of door hardware such as handles, locks and brackets.

Oasis Door

The Oasis Door was chosen by the Orange County Interior Decorator Association to be the grand entry way of the 2006 Philharmonic Design tour home. 

 

These bas relief sculptured double door panels show Egrets wading in the water and soaring above the desert palm fronds.

 

This stunning entry way is shown in this photo with the traditional bronze patina finish. It is also available in a variety of custom patinas. 

 

To complement these exotic door panels, master sculptor Randy Morgan has created a handcrafted bronze “Flying Egret” door handle to complete this unique design.

Shangri-La Door

The “Shangri-La” bas relief sculpted double door panels will whisk you away to a tropical rainforest setting where you can explore the exotic flora and fauna and watch a nearby waterfall cascade down a mountain.

 

Don’t forget to look up to see the wild Macaws and Parrots fly by and the Toucan nestling in the jungle canopy.

Aquatic Landscape Door

Cold Cast in bronze, the stunning “Aquatic Landscape” bas relief sculptured door panel transports you among an array of fish and kelp beds along the Pacific Ocean, while dolphins leap and play above the surf. 

 

The stunning entryway door is shown in this photo with the traditional “Verde” bronze patina finish however, it is also available in a variety of custom patinas.

The “Aviary” sculptured door panel shows an array of Parrots and a Toucan perched among a hibiscus tree.  

 

Originally designed for the singer, Sting, this door is shown here in two different finishes.

Pelicans In Flight Door

In this stunning one-of-a kind custom entryway, master sculptor Randy Morgan combines a bronze bas relief sculptured door panel of flying pelicans with a mahogany door frame.

 

He then carves the image of two flying pelicans with a mallet and chisel to round out the design.

Tribute Gauguin (Part 1 and 2)

The Tribute Gauguin door is an award winning hand carved door that was Randy’s signature piece for years. 

 

Randy used figures from two of Paul Gauguin’s paintings to explore the Madonna with child theme on both sides of this wonderful hand carved piece. 

 

The entire original door was hand carved out of alder wood in 1975 by hammer and chisel.

The Stampede Garage Door

The “Southwest Buffalo” door is made from bonded bronze with a copper patina finish. 

 

These commissioned bronze buffalo’s charging across the plain are placed on a mahogany roll-up garage door for an eclectic stucco home in Laguna Beach. 

 

In this commission we show what can be done to enhance a simple but elegant design by simply complimenting the mahogany door with a wonderful but simple sculpture. Sometimes less is more.

Shangri-La Garage Door

This beautiful cedar wood Arts & Crafts style garage door has been used to place the bronzed Shangri-la sculptured mural. 

 

This mural was created to match our Shangri-la double entry way door, both with a rain-forest design.

African Grey Garage Door

In this exquisite artisan garage door offering, Randy Morgan has sculpted these beautiful bronze African Grey matching parrots.

 

The bas relief sculptures perfectly compliment the wonderful attention to detail of these top and bottom antique bronze buttons, the antique bronze door knockers and the addition of the cantilevered sculpted mahogany feature at the bottom of the piece.

Choose from one of six metal coat finishes

 

Patina colors are hand applied to each item and can vary per project type.

 

What is Patina? 

 

Patina is a coating of various chemical compounds such as oxides or carbonates formed on the surface of metal during exposure to weathering. The green patina that forms naturally on copper and bronze is known as verdigris and consists of copper carbonate. 

 

Patina also refers to accumulated changes in surface texture and color that result from normal use of an object such as a coin or a piece of furniture. Artists and metalworkers often deliberately add patinas as a part of the original design and decoration of art and furniture, or to simulate antiquity in newly-made objects.
